Summary
Everest Re Group, a multinational insurance provider, sought to significantly improve underwriting efficiency, risk assessment, and pricing accuracy across their insurance and reinsurance product lines. As Lead UI/UX Designer, I led the UX and visual design for a new platform streamlining the entire underwriting lifecycle—from submission intake to policy issuance and renewals—while collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business and functional requirements into a cohesive user experience.
This platform provides a single, intuitive interface for users—including underwriters, claims professionals, and operations professionals—eliminating the need to switch between multiple systems and enabling automation, streamlined communication, and data-driven decision-making through the integration of various underwriting tools, data sources, and workflows.
