A B2C website featuring an agent-customer ecosystem via agent microsites and a searchable finder.
Summary
Following a brand update after its acquisition by Chubb, Combined Insurance, a global provider of supplemental insurance (including accident, life, and critical care coverage), sought to revamp its digital presence. Capitalizing on this opportunity, I collaborated with a cross-functional team to redesign the website and its information architecture.
A key initiative was the introduction of an agent-customer ecosystem, featuring agent microsites for self-promotion and an "Agent Finder" tool enabling customers to locate agents based on location, language, and expertise. This ecosystem concept was subsequently presented at the Agent Summit 2024 in Canada, in collaboration with their Head of Digital Marketing and UX.
The agents expressed enthusiasm for this new functionality, recognising its potential to personalise how prospective customers connect with agents and generate online leads for Combined. They were also excited about future plans to automate the process of agents building their microsites.
